Sherrod Brown wins Ohio Senate seat back despite heavy crypto spending

Former Senate Banking Committee chair Sherrod Brown beat Republican Sen. Jon Husted in Ohio, two years after a crypto-funded campaign helped push him out. Politico put industry spending on this year's race above $55 million, while Reuters counted more than $68 million before the vote. Binance said in its seventh incident update that it has refilled about 98% of the assets hit in last week's hack from its own funds, and will buy the last 2% of thinly traded tokens on the open market and over the counter.
